New York: Hunt & Eaton, 1892. Hardcover. Good + condition. A complete account of "the origin and resources of our planet, accompanied by the story of its peoples", published in the year of the Columbian Exposition, with an illustrated section devoted to the exposition. Illustrated with color maps, including all the US states and territories, and color maps of major American cities (New Orleans, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, New York City (2 maps of Manhattan), Brooklyn and Philadelphia.

The title continues, 'Compiled by Henry Frederic Reddall ... containing two hundred colored maps and diagrams and three hundred illustrations, and including a gazetteer of the United States, with the populations according to the eleventh census.'

Folio, 380pp. Green gilt and black stamped covers, gilt title front board faded. Faint white marking to covers, spine slightly faded, corners bumped. Internally clean and bright; one plate (flags) slightly ruffled and chipped at edges, detached. OCLC: 10635843.
