About This Item
Virtue, 1860. First Thus. Hardcover. Very Good. 1055pp, undated but believed 1860, previous owners date and date to inside of free front end paper, 1864, other owners name to second free front end paper, no other inscriptions, illustrated 45 full page engraved plates, plus 92 illustrations to text, fold out map has been reinforced to one fold but is in very good order. Slight rubbing to brown quarter leather boards but nothing major. Four decorative bands to spine are slightly rubbed. Text is in very good order with little wear, there is some light spotting, especially to plates, edges of text block are gilt. Happy to supply photos on request. Very heavy book, please inquire for postage outside the UK.
