Talbot is a childrens book produced by H.A. & L.J. DeLand & Co. the manufacturers of DeLands Chemical Baking Powder. The first page has a childs name written in cursive with Lewis County, NY under it. Delands was the second producer of baking powder in the country, beginning their manufacturing in 1852. The product came to be called Cap Sheaf Soda. Some blank pages stained from opposing page's illustrations, Binding torn in some places.
