About This Item

NY: Talese/Doubleday, 1993. 1st Edition, full number Line . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. We agree with Ahearn that only the 1st printing of the 1st trade edition is a true first and will never identify books with partial numberlines as "firsts." Full number line, for this publisher, is present. Signed title page, "Best Wishes, Thomas Keneally (face drawn) 1993." Handsome copy. Smaller than pinhead size, hard to see, light red dot on decked fore edge, text bright, unthumbed, unmarked. Boards straight and clean, binding tight. Jacket in mylar wrapper not flawless, but darned close, with perhaps a trace of shelf wear. *We feel that books offered for internet sale should be described thoroughly and accurately. Books listed by Brass Dolphin are so described, and graded, using the strict, traditional standards. For this reason, we have virtually zero returns.*

Synopsis
