It is a personal account of one of the blackest episodes in Canadian history - the forced evacuation during the second world war of 21,000 Japanese from British Columbia." - from dust jacket. Two small spots of soiling to back board else book clean, bright and unmarked with negligible wear. Very light wear to dust jacket which is now preserved in Brodart. Excellent copy of this somber story..
