The Children's Press, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 157 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over turquoise cloth with silver lettering. Contains black and white illustrations throughout by Anne Bullen. Pages are fairly heavily tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Presentation plate stuck to front free endpaper, with water staining and a few small nicks along text block edge. Water staining to upper corner of pages. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Faint tanning to spine, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a pronounced forward lean and subtle bow. Water staining to upper edge and lower corner. Clipped jacket has moderate surface wear, with chips, tears and creasing to edges, corners and spine ends. Water staining to front panel, with a price sticker to rear.
