About This Item
Used paperback book with minor creasing along the spine and almost no rubbing on front and back covers. No writing, notes, or highlighting interferes with the text. Binding is very good and the text is basically new looking. There are signatures from previous readers just inside the front cover; that and the sticker on the front are the only things keeping this copy from being "Like New."
Standard shipping is via USPS Media Mail. It is a tad slower sometimes, but it is far less expensive. Expedited shipping will be USPS First Class shipping rates.

In the old days, winter drove people indoors to a world without television or radio, and stories would be told in front of the fire as everyone gathered around. The Winter Room is set in the early 1900's, and is the story of a family listening to their Uncle David tell old blood and glory tales of their Viking ancestry as well as their recent family history. Newbery Honor (1990)
