London: DECCA, 1964. First Edition. LP Record. Fine. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. A fine exemplar of a Special Edition, being a recorded collection of the speeches and memoirs of Churchill between the World Wars. The sets contain 12 records housed in individual sleeves and that are themselves housed in a heavy cloth-covered slipcase, thick and abraded a bit along edges. All records appear to be in unused, fine condition, and the previous owner possessed no record-player. Accompanied by a Fine oversized paperback that includes pictures and with text written by Arthur Bryant. Indefinitely numbered edition. The original publisher's two-part green slipcase features a rounded back and decorative panel front. Some moderate rubbing to slipcase, with spine titles faded. The Churchill Project (edited by Cohen) lists this set as follows: Decca: Winston S. Churchill: His Memoirs and His Speeches [the discs are numbered WSC 1 to WSC 12, with a side number reference that runs from Side No. 1 to Side No. 24.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
