Sm. 4to., Third Impression, with fine coloured frontispiece, 80 fine coloured plates illustrating 32 blossoms and leaves, and numerous illustrations in the text; original pictorial green cloth blocked in black, backstrip lettered in black, a very good, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper. First re-issue of this classic revision of Step's pioneer work, from which the wonderful illustrations are taken. Contains a pictorial colour key to facilitate identification. The taxonomy is that of Bentham and Hooker. See Marren, p.196.
