New York: Putnam, 1979. 1st Edition . No Binding. Near Fine/Near Fine. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. In price clipped dust jacket with small rub to top front corner. Inscription to ffep otherwise fine. Whistler's sister in law bequeathed the books and papers from his estate to Glasgow University. Amongst the papers was a small manuscript book of recipes collected over the years by his Mother, and referred to by Wistler as 'Her Bible'. 89 of these are reproduced here for the first time along with an account of the Whistler household in America, Russia and Britain by Mrs MacDonald.
