About This Item
London: Heinemann, 1976. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean, showing little or no wear. The black covers are also in excellent condition, with light bumps to the top and bottom of the spine, but little wear else. The gilt lettering is still bright. The dust jacket is price-clipped. It has one closed tear on the bottom of the front panel, but little wear else. The jacket is now in a protective plastic cover and looks very attractive. A very nice copy. Synopsis: "Fame and adulation from the fans were cruelly snatched from Kenny Rider, goal-scoaring star of Rangers, a Second Division club, when he fractured his leg. Now as the new season approaches, he conscientiously strives to regain his old form. But there is still pain in his leg and his timing seems to have vanished" Kenny's worries dissolve as he rebuilds his life -- moves into a flat with a team-mate, meets a new girl and is unexpectly moved to a new club. A sequel to "Goals In The Air",
