About This Item
New York: A. S. Barnes, 1959. Oversized hardcover with unclipped dust jacket, 341 pages including "---over 1100 rare [black-and-white] engravings, prints, and early photographs"; book gently used, only very light shelf wear to cover edges, some darkness to covers, probably due to exposure to moisture although no other staining is evident outside or inside, text pages very clean and unmarked, but sadly due to poor storage the pages have bent into a vertical wave; DJ bumped and rubbed along edges and hinges, several immeasurably tiny chips/tears, now in new mylar protector.. This book sells for $3.50 if purchased with our copy of John Kouwenhoven`s Adventures of America, 1857-1900: A pictorial record from Harper's Weekly (discount applied when I accept the order for both). . Hard Cover. Good/Very Good.
