About This Item
London: Printed for W. Griffin, at Garrick's Head, in Catharine-Street, Strand, 1771. Soft cover. Fair. Second edition. Disbound. Leaves are fragile, some chipping and tears, old repairs. One leaf has a torn corner, resulting in a few missing words of dialog. 8vo in fours. [3] ff., (1)-102 pp, plus final blank leaf. Placed in a removable clear archival wrapper. Includes title page, prologue, dramatis personae, the full text of the play, and one concluding blank leaf. The list of dramatis personae has a handful of last names hand-written next to the original actors [presumed to have been either the succeeding or alternate actors in those roles at Drury Lane].
