Octavo, black cloth covered boards with elaborate gilt decoration, title and spine titles. 302pp. Uncut edges. With twelve tipped in full page engravings, capitals and decorations by Frank C. Pape. Brilliant gilt on the front panel decorations and titles and clear but not quite as bright on spine titles and spine decorations. Interior unmarked but occasional tiny flecks of foxing, else fine. Very tight and clean. Near fine (without dust jacket). An excellent copy..
