Author's presentation edition; Copy number "V3" of a limited 100 copies, signed by Charles Lindbergh and G. P. Putnam; Lindbergh has inscribed this copy to a former owner, Mrs. Paul Morton. Bound in publisher's half parchment over terracotta paper cover boards, decorated in gilt. The author's presentation edition precedes all other editions, including the edition limited to 1,000 signed copies, and the first trade edition. Near Fine. Spine toned and rubbed at extremities with light wear at spine ends. Covers lightly soiled. Signed by the famed aviator and the publisher, George P. Putnam. Putnam was a big fan of Lindbergh's and would later go on to marry another famous aviator, Amelia Earhart.
