* THE WAVE OF THE FUTURE - A Confession of Faith. 1940 1st edition, 3rd impression (stated); Harcourt, Brace and Company; New York. The dust jacket is un-clipped with the original price intact on the front flap. From the dust jacket: "A positive faith for the future, for those bewildered by the bitter world-events of our time, can be supplied only by one who knows that courage is vital in our daily lives, who believes in the poise of faith against fear. This is a sincere and heartfelt confession."
* THE STEEP ASCENT. 1944 1st edition (stated); Harcourt, Brace and Company; New York. The dust jacket is un-clipped with the original price intact on the front flap. From the dust jacket: "In this new book, which she calls a fictional account of an actual incident, Anne Morrow Lindbergh has written the story of a dangerous flight over the Alps made by a young couple, Eve and Gerald, whose close relationship forms the basic pattern of the narrative."
Condition:
THE WAVE OF THE FUTURE - The back cover has a small tear to the cloth at the top edge, and a small dimple/impression at the bottom edge; thin, light stain line at the bottom-right corner of the front cover; tiny cloth tears at the bottom 2 cover corners; tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages; both covers are firmly attached; the pages are lightly age-toned and clean with no issues found...overall the book is in Very Good- condition. The dust jacket has small pieces missing at the top/bottom of the spine; tears at 3 of the flap corners; un-clipped w/price intact on front flap...overall the jacket is in Good condition. THE STEEP ASCENT - Clean covers & spine; sharp cover corners; tight binding w/no cracks and no loose pages; both covers are firmly attached; clean interior with only an inscription dated 1944 written in pen on the front end papers...overall the book is in Very Good+ condition. The jacket is in Good condition with tears/pieces missing at the spine & flap corners.
