About This Item

Washington, D.C.: Government Printing Office, 1964. First Edition. Very Good. First edition. Complete in 26 volumes plus summary report, all bound in publisher's navy cloth stamped in gilt. Very Good with subtle sunning to spines, slight lean to various volumes, minor bumping to corners and shelf wear, moderate creasing to summary report volume. Former owner's armorial bookplate to front pastedowns, contents lightly toned; unmarked.

The complete Warren Commission report, as its generally referred to after Chief Justice Earl Warren, who headed an inquiry into the 1963 Dallas assassination of President John F. Kennedy at the behest of his successor, Texan Lyndon Johnson. It is in the sprawling thousands of pages of these volumes that all manner of idiosyncrasies, contradictions, and potential leads big and small have been teased out by researchers since their publication.

International buyers: please note that shipping outside of the U.S. is possible but will cost a considerable amount extra, as the set is heavy and physically large. Contact us for details..
