London, Cassell & Co. Ltd. All 1st edition: 1941-1946 [ALL FIRST EDITIONS]. Seven Volumes bound in Three. Hardback, Size 8 x 5.5 inches. Bound in half calf red leather over red cloth boards. with raised bands, bright gilt-titling and intricate tooling (armourial lions) within the compartments. And gilt top edges. Original bound and Sold by Henry Sotheran London In very good conditions. Lovely smart leather bindings. Volume three has small faint mark centre of spine, near rear hinge. No penned inscriptions. Inside a few very light foxing spots, else very clean, bright and tight throughout. A very clean and tight 1st edition Churchill set in fine leather binding. Photographic plates. Into Battle is the first issue which misses the 3rd September 1939 speech (the first day of Britain's war).
