This is a hardcover book with 264 pages including 19 illustrations and 2 maps. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There is light foxing throughout the book. The pages are otherwise clean with no writing or tears. The copyright page shows 1938 as the published date. The dust jacket is about 99% intact with light chipping on the spine edges, pieces of tape along the edges and heavy soiling. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
