About This Item

Ottawa; New York: Franz Klein, 1943. Newsletter. Two issues of the anti-fascist newsletter published in exile, moving from Canada to New York. 16 pages each, 8.5x11 inches, some toning, faint vertical fold crease to each issue, otherwise very good. The owner of the publication, Austrian exile Franz Klein, later published under the name Robert Ingrim. This publication was subsidized by Otto von Habsburg, and reflected a monarchist bent. These issues include discussion of the plight of Austria after the Anschluss, efforts to gain diplomatic recognition, and general news about the situation in Europe.
