Kurutz, 385b. 61 pages with several colored woodcuts by Mallette Dean, map of Sutter's Fort, picture of the author, and reproductions of the original German title and dedication pages. Map endpapers. Bound in original brown cloth with illustrated label on front cover and paper title label on spine. Fine in near fine plain brown dust jacket with two small tears.
