Beige, buckram-covered boards with gilt-on-black label (title and author's initials) and a smaller similar label to spine. Frontis black and white photo of a plaster (later bronze casting) bust of the author, carved by Jo Davidson. A brief history of type, design, details of construction. Very slight age toning to pages. Some soiling and smudging to dustjacket, which appears to be of fine, textured paper, perhaps mock vellum. Sharp copy.
