1960. ("Eleanor Roosevelt") in blue fountain pen ink on her Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt, 55 East 74th Street, New York City 21, N.Y. letterhead, July 31, 1960. 6" x 7"; 1 page (recto only). Fine. Together with the original typed mailing envelope, with her "free franked" stamp and postmarked New York, N.Y., August 3, 1960 with a Camp Fire Girl Golden Jubilee 1910-1960 cancellation. To Mr. Richard W. Gimbel Culver Military Academy; Culver, Indiana. Interesting letter of thanks, but not agreeing with his distaste of a film shown at the Democratic convention. In part: ". . .To me it was an interesting way of explaining a platform. . .". No Binding. Fine/No Jacket.
