Good content T.L.S. 4to. 1 page, University of Alabama, Office of the Dean, November 30, 1929, to acclaimed photographer Pirie MacDonald, in part: "Under separate cover I am returning the proofs of the photographs you took of me recently. The one which is marked "Best" on the back and triple checked is our first choice. My experience in being photographed by you was most interesting. I wonder if you appreciate how much of an artist you are? Most photographers work mechanically. I was quite engrossed in your intellectual process while you were working with your hands" Very Good(+).<br/> <br/> American pathologist and educator who later became Dean of the prestigious Medical College at the University of Alabama (1928 - 1947).<br/> <br/>
