Pictorial endpapers, 8 tipped in colour plates with tissue guards bearing captions (including frontispiece) - all present, all clean and bright, without tears or creases. Contents: The Woodcutter's Cottage; The Miser; The Fairy's Palace; The Ancestors; The Children; The Leave-Taking; The Awakening. Small light soiling mark in the top corner of page 27, small bump to top corner of front board - migrates into front free endpaper, slight lean to spine, light browning to the edges of the text block, small light scuff to the top of the text block, slight fading and browning to spine colour, wrinkling at top/bottom of the spine; light edge wear to boards - slightly more at corners and top/bottom of the spine and top edge of rear board; several small very light rub marks on the boards..
