About This Item
Synopsis
The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien is a gripping and dramatic continuation of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Frodo and Sam find themselves on a treacherous path towards Mordor, burdened by the corrupting influence of the One Ring. Guided by the treacherous Gollum, their friendship is tested amidst the perils they face. Meanwhile, the remaining members of the Fellowship, joined by the kingdom of Rohan, confront the formidable wizard Saruman and his dark forces. Battles erupt, sacrifices are made, and the forces of good are pushed to their limits. With the fate of Middle-earth hanging in the balance, the book sets the stage for an epic clash between light and darkness.
