First edition, first printing of two Joseph Conrad classic long short story and novette ("An Outpost of Progress" and "Heart of Darkness") . in 'As New" condition except for very light shadowing on the inside covers and shadowing on the second flyleaf page. Binding is tight. Text pages are like new. The unclipped dj (18 s. net), in a mylare transparent cover, is in excellent condition except for four noticable small gaudges on the front cover and light wear along the top edges. Eight copper engravings by Rieser are scattered throughout the book.
