This is a first edition advance review copy which has a perforated stamp "advance copy for review not for sale" on title page. "Published, September, 1916" on copyright page with no additional printings noted. Collection of 8 stories. London died about a month after publication. Light edgewear to corners. Gift inscription. BAL 11968.
