About This Item
London: HarperCollins Publishers, 1985. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. There is a small "C" stamp on the title page, but no other marks or wear. The red covers are fresh, with minor wear at tips and corners. The dust jacket is price-clipped, but is otherwise in very good condition, with minor wear and one short (1 inch) tear on the back cover. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. Synopsis: The fatal collapse of an unknown man during a University ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall seems a sinister echo of an earlier international crime with political motives. Special Branch are concerned because Princess Anne was present; so are Detective-Superintendent Mike Yeadings and newly promoted Inspector Angus Mott of the Thames Valley Police, both on loan to Scotland Yard.
