SIGNED and inscribed by author/poet Widdemer on free front endpaper to Western author HH Knibbs and his wife Julia plus a 3-page hand-written poem by Widdemer on rear flyleaves; near fine in good dust jacket, in fresh archival sleeve; rear hinge partially split, cracking and rubbing to jacket edges with small piece missing at top of jacket spine and some surface erosion along rest of spine; first printing with no later statements; inscription on ffep reads: 'To Henry Herbert Knibbs and Julia Knibbs, Both poets in their various ways, this dedication, and the supplement [hand-written 3-page poem] on page 103- From Margaret Widdemer / Hollywood / March 30, 1923'; the hand-written poem in the rear is entitled 'The Glory Hoss Goes Home'; photos on request; 102 pages; Signed by Author .
