London: E. & F. N. Spon. Fair/No Jacket. 1873. Hard Cover. Rebacked saving 90-percent of original spine while overlapping 5/8" of original boards. Hinges reinforced with white linen tape. Private library bookplate at front endpaper with a date due sheet at rear flyleaf. "George K. Hazlitt & Co." stamp at base of title page. Dewey decimal number in pencil at verso of title. Some edgewear and moderate soiling to original boards and endpapers. Text clean and rebinding renders the volume tight and available for practical use. .
