An attractive copy, Very Good. 1st American edition. A Good copy. 8vo., xlviii, 465 pp. Bound in period, early American full tree/mottled calf. All edges of the text block coated yellow; plain end papers. Previous owner's name and 1821 date on a front end paper and title page. Joints cracking, but holding firm. Small loss at the spine's crown. Text generally clean, with an occasional gathering browned.
