Printed for F C and J Rivington et al , 1812 . Hardback. . Hardback 8vo volume, bound in full contemporary calf with numerous illustrations. The first edition of this book was published in 1770 and is thought to have been an early assignment of Thomas Bewick. The picture on this listing page is of the actual book for sale. Good only copy. The front board is detached and the spine is badly worn. The original fragile title label is loosely inserted in the book. Text block is in very good condition with no markings and is firm.
