Good/no dustwrapper. 16mo. b&w illustrations 7th Edition (1864) of Heather's Treatise on Mathematical Instruments, including chapters on Drawing Instruments, Optical, Surveying, Astronomical, and with a section on Goniometers; b&w text engravings and illustrations; this copy bound in three-quarter leather with cloth sides, the pages being rather crudely cut along the top edges of pages (all text present and legible, but a little close-cut); endpapers heavily foxed, lighter to prelims, scattered foxing throughout, and with one or two stains in text; front hinge a little loose (but holding); leather and boards heavily rubbed and scuffed.
