Hardcover, royal octavo case bound in bold, dark pink lettered in white, in publisher's dust-jacket. 296 pages. Edited, with an introduction, by Peter Weiermair; prefatory note by Fritz Lohman and Charles Leslie, a mission statement by James M. Saslow and an essay entitled "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Allen Ellenzweig. Profusely illustrated with color and some black and white images of selected paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculptures and objet d'art from the Leslie/Lohman collection. Alphabetically arranged biographies and bibliographies of artists depicted at rear of book. First trade edition, after the special limited edition of 100 copies. No previous ownership marks. Very mild surface marks to matte black finish on rear dust-jacket panel, with original publishers upc sticker now faded to nearly white. Book is clean, fresh, unmarked and like new. Dust-jacket is fine but for minor blemishes described above. As new in a near fine dust-jacket .
