Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Cloth has moderate damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Sunning to spine. Gilt lettering is darkened.
