NYC: D. Appleton & Co., 1910 xix, 201 pp with tipped-in silver-tone print protected by intact glasine frontis and 50 B&W plates + a folding colored map. Text is clean, tight and unmarked. Previous owner's name stamp on flyleaf. Page edges deckled. Red cloth boards with a gold-stamped riding scene and title on upper board are clean and bright with strong color and light rubbing to extremities. Spine is somewhat dulled. The author embarked on a shooting trip in 1907 in the Hunza region of Central Asia.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
