Lincoln, Nebraska: The University Publishing Company, 1921. First Edition. HB. Blue cloth with front cover stamped in gilt and orange, spine stamped in gilt, 8vo, xi, 302 pp., TEG. Frontis photo of the author, with tissue guard, plus numerous plates within the text. Memoirs, published by his family, of this Englishman's experiences as a cattle rancher in the Platte River Valley of Nebraska in the 1870's. No marks in book, binding tight. Covers show minor edge wear, some chipping bottom of spine, faint discolored spots, rear cover. Book condition VG. Howes B725, Herd 310.
