London, 1925. First Edition. (London: Harry Leat 1925). First UK Edition. A softcover. 122 pages; sepia photo portrait frontispiece of the author; a blue-printed plate of a skeleton beating a drum (to the front cover), and with 45 illustrations and vignettes in line - 8 full-page, 1 folding and 36 in the text. Initials to the title page otherwise a nice VG+ copy in the original sown binding. NB: the front cover is the original from 1925 and not the later re-bound pale green issue.
