Roman Polanski's stark, bloody adaptation of Shakespeare's classic drama of murder and ambition in medieval Scotland, co-written by noted dramaturge Kenneth Tynan, and financed by Playboy Enterprises.

Shot on location in Northumberland and Wales.

Title page present, undated, with credits for screenwriters Roman Polanski, Kenneth Tynan, and playwright William Shakespeare, noted as copy No. 9 in manuscript ink on the top right corner. 121 leaves, with last page of text numbered 120.
