LONDON: THE FOLIO SOCIETY, 1981 Brown Cloth Quarter binding with gilt titles to spine, paper covered boards with roundel wood block illustration, 240 x 160 mm approx. top edge stained purple, applied two colour head and tail bands, 192 pp 16 pp of mainly colour illustrations taken from Bewicks drawings for the "British Birds" + chapter head and tail pieces and other wood block illustrations in text. First printing 1981 of the Folio Edition which is based largely on Bewicks original manuscript. Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition.
