DJ has some wear, edge tears and and soiling.. 224 p. 27 cm. Illustrations. This work was associated with the Bicentennial of the American Revolution and focused on harvesting some of the stories from the older citized of Texas. Soliciting stories over 2000 nominations were recieved. The goal was to represent a cross section of background, occupations, locations, and temperment. The result is not per se oral histories but are fascinating sketches.
