Size Octavo, 8.5" x 5.25", 223 pages including index. Black cloth with gilt titles to the spine. Green dust jacket with white titles. Book condition very good, corners and spine edges rubbed, gilt on spine slightly dulled, front hinge loose, a few spots to page edges else contents clean. Dust jacket condition good, rubbed and creased with small chips at the corners and the head and tail of the spine, spine sunned, there is a red label with white writing on front panel of dust jacket, put there by the publisher "Marvellous value for 12/6" and the M in marvellous has chipped off, the lower corner of the front inner flap has been clipped, but the price is still intact, 12s. 6d. net. Now protected. Illustrated with 33 glossy black and white photographs. Denis Compton's account of the first Post ar Ashes Tour of Australia 1946-1947.
