New York: Lantern Press, Inc., 1946. First Edition (stated). . Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. Bound in green cloth with spine titles stamped in gilt. Corresponding 1946 dates to the title and copyright pages, indicating the first edition. No additional printings. 280 pages. (See photos for list of authors provided on the front panel of the dust wrapper). No mention in this volume of any other titles, pending or otherwise. The cloth shows only a few faint marks, as if a damp hand had once touched the book. Virtually no wear; the book is clean, tight and unmarked with solid hinges and a square binding. The dust jacket has a sun-faded spine with a 1-1/4" x 3/4" chip at the head of the spine; the rear panel is a bit soiled and has a couple of light stains. The spine, which does not photograph well, is clearly legible; the photo may be hard to read.
