Contents: Dorothea Chapel by Freiderike Lohmann, pp. 3-80; Das Hospizium des Bernhardsbergen by A. Bronikowski, pp. 81-191; Cecilie Stuart by Carl von Wachsmann, pp. 192-277; Die weisse Henne by Leopold Schefer, pp. 278-360; poems, pp. 361-391. 4.75 x 3.5 inches. First edition (first printing). Very good in unprinted yellow stiff paper wrappers (paperback). All edges gilt. Some browning and foxing to pages. Former owner name stamp on front pastedown. Housed in slipcase with illustrated printed label pasted to front. The slipcase identifies that there should be 14 copper plates but only 6 plus title page are in this copy with no evidence of page loss. Engraved plate pages are separated by unprinted page. A handsome copy.
