London, UK: Cassell and Company, 1923. Hardcover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Reprint of Uniform edition. 386pp. In green cloth-covered boards with titles blind stamped on front panel and in gilt on spine.. 12mo. Boards worn, rubbed at edges, rounded on corners and spine ends. Spine sunned and cloth cracked and fraying at joint ends. Previous owner's name inked on front free endpaper, dated 1924. Occasional smudge marks on pages, else internally neat, clean and tight. Sheila Kaye-Smith was a popular English novelist, known for her many novels set in borderland country between Sussex and Kent. We have many Sheila Kaye-Smith titles in stock.
