First edition signed by the author in Edinburgh on the 22nd November 1969. Robert Nye was an author who is possibly best known for his novel 'Falstaff'. Some of his other novels include 'Doubtfire', 'Faust', 'The Voyage of the Destiny', and 'The Memoirs of Lord Byron'. In original illustrated dustwrapper designed by Brian Paine. In original cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Minor shelfwear to the boards. Light edgewear to the dustwrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Fine
