About This Item

London: Frederick Etchells & Hugh MacDonald, 1929. Hardcover. Very Good. Quarter natural buckram gilt with decorated paper-covered boards, tall 8vo., 215 pages, 16 full-page drawings, including title-page, by Hester Sainsbury, colored by hand. The Haslewood Books. One of 535 numbered copies printed on all-rag paper. Additional title-page leaf, with quite different hand coloring, is loosely inserted. Inscription at flyleaf, spine and board margins quite toned, edgewear, still a near very good copy in archival mylar.
