About This Item
London: Michael Joseph, 1961. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. From an auction of modern first editions with the auction tag laid into the book--a near fine copy in a very good plus unclipped dustjacket. This copy is signed by the author on the title page--signature only. A clean and tight copy with no evidence of previous ownership. A little dustiness to the outside page edges. The dustjacket is complete with moderate edgewear to the head and heel of the spine and to the tips--but the front panel is bright and vibrant--the dustjacket spine is darkened. From the author of "The Manchurian Candidate" and "Prizzi's Honor"--this novel is set on a ranch in the mid 19th Century. A nice collectible copy.
