Description:
London: W. Collins Sons & Co. Ltd, 1922. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. viii, 215, [4 ads] pp. Illustrated with seven photogravure photographic plates by E.O. Hoppe (due to a binders error, plate six is bound upside down). Boards rubbed and faded, a few tiny tears on the spine ends, offsetting on the flyleaves, foxing on the first and last few pages, still about very good. The book takes a look at the lives of seven individuals met on the streets of London, each represented by a beautiful, if not haunting portrait by E.O. Hoppé.
